Approachable elegance was the goal of this renovation of a Heritage Designated property. The use of whimsy and saturated colour injects an unexpected modernity while staying true to the history of this former family home turned Inn. While the hotel benefits from investments by its international ownership, we also enjoyed working with an incredibly engaged, supportive local management team.
The Grit: We were tasked with fitting all the functionality of a luxury modern food and beverage provider into a restricted space with multiple pre-existing conditions, to ensure its original features were retained.
The Sparkle: The tea bar allows patrons to experience the refinement of bygone era with layered finishes and rich decoration. It’s the kind of luxury everyone should indulge in far more often.
